Surprisingly mild weather on the walking group today !  Loads of squirrels squirreling about today at the Botanic Gardens. 

The Great War

We are delighted and proud to hang yet another piece of moving art and peotry at the Stafford Centre.  These pieces produced by John, commemorate the beginning of the First Word War. 

Walking Group

Today the walking group went from the Water of Leith visitor centre down to Rosewell.  Lovely sunny day ! Here are some photos of the walk

Art Group Exhibition Visit 
On a grey Wednesday afternoon it was nice to get out together to see another stunning exhibition at The Printmakers Workshop!

The exhibition was Mary Modeen's "The Absolutely Other" and included colourful, mysterious multuilayered prints, poems, sculptures and hand made books suggesting nature, buildings, and memories, feelings,other times and places, the inner and outer world. Justin kindly gave us a short introduction and we enjoyed the experience and discussions on "What is Art"-does anyone know???-answers on a postcard please!
