In celebration of the refounding of the 'See Me', Scotland's national anti-stigma programme to end the discrimination of people with mental ill-health. To that end, Frances Simpson, CEO of Support In Mind Scotland and Eric (Board Member) and Mike Staley and Alisdair Cormack, Peer Volunteers and Service Users of the Stafford Centre were invited to the Scottish Parliament to be with other groups and organisations, hosted by 'See Me' and Fiona McLeod MSP. Along with drinks and nibbles we all had a thoroughly wonderful evening at the Scottish Parliament, with a guided tour of the debating chamber at the end, speeches were given by Fiona and Angiolina Foster, the Director of Health and Social Care Integration, and she welcomed the newly appointed director of 'See Me', Judith Robertson, formerly Head of Oxfam Scotland.
